This is the fuel for the fire, cow pie, caca, loaded on a piece of roofing.
James puts the last of the pieces in the kiln load; we used some old roof tiles to hold some of the smaller pieces so they would not get lost.
Beginning of firing, dried palm fronds really takes off hot!
Still burning, yellow heat, cone 06 at least, great firing!

2 cups, 4 Clay whistles, Ocarinas, a native instrument, all designed and made by Cindy Roach, primitive fired in El Salvador "Wonder White" a Clay from Georgies Ceramic Supply.
