OPA Exposed
Please join us September 7th – September 30th
Opening reception: Friday, Sept. 7
In a variety of firing techniques and styles, 39 members from the Oregon Potters Association expose themselves, revealing their interpretations of functional and sculptural ceramics.
The OPA has grown in the past 32 years from a small cooperative of 56 potters who gathered together to share knowledge, opportunities, and low cost materials. Today they have become the largest ceramics organization in the country, with close to 400 members who work in clay, and the cooperative spirit remains. Members range in location from southern Washington to southern and eastern Oregon, with most gatherings held in Portland, OR
