Information Booth Chair

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organize, set up, and take down the information booth at the show.
  • Create name tags for participants, members, and non-members who are helping members in the show. Keep them in a file at the information booth.
  • Create participant booth signs.
  • Organize a display of posters, pamphlets, necessary forms, etc.
  • Maintain the Gallery Only portfolio.
  • Store all information booth supplies, Gallery Only portfolio, and radios at the chair’s home in a safe dry area.
  • Obtain two pedestals, one for the flower arrangement and the other for the OPA & Ceramic Showcase flyers.
  • Arrange for the flower display in front of the Information Booth.
  • Charge the radios before the show.
  • Maintain a member cell phone list for use as an alternative to paging. Do not share the numbers with the public.
  • Keep a basic first aid kit at the Information Booth.
  • Provide show participants with Broken Work Claim Forms and store the broken pieces at the Information Booth.

Education / Experience / Skills

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience working with the public helpful.
