Biography
Since 1996, my hands have been in clay and mixed-materials sculpture, in my studio work, through teaching, and in commissions.
Along side my creative practice, I have worked with a variety of organizations with the hope of making a difference in people's quality of life. This has included community art and craft organizations, a woodworking school, and at organizations and agencies concerned with the environment and health.
I participated for a number of years in the Portland Japanese Gardens' Behind the Shoji show, some smaller endeavors, and also team up with friends who work in other media for occasional studio open house events.
