Be a part of the 2017 Online OPA Holiday Season Studio Sale Guide. Theres not a lot of time to sign up, so take a moment to gather your info and pictures and submit them so you can be a part of this years guide. The printed guide has been canceled this year, and I just volunteered to try something different. The production of an online holiday guide with email and social network marketing.

"Due to low interest, and rising printing costs, as well as concerns that the guide was not as effective as hoped, I cancelled it this year.
I produced the guide for about 10 years, and the number of participants varied from 10 to15, which always provided a good selection of events in the 2000-2500 printed guides. There were a few who did it every year along with a changing number of new participants who joined in. Last year I decided to go with color images which increased the cost significantly. Participants appreciated the color guides, but did not notice a significant increase in sales."
Michelle volunteered to put this printed guide for the last 10 years because she believed it was a project that was important to our members.
Well, I agree this is an important service for OPA members and that is why I volunteered to take it over. It will be a lot easier and cheaper to put together online. All members can participate including those who live outside of Portland, and we will co-op the fee and put it towards online advertising, mainly on Facebook. Which can be extremely effective and focused on an audience that has interest in ceramics.
Also, we will need your help utilizing social networks that you use by sharing this online guide with all of your friends and followers, it would also be great if you sent an email to your email list announcing the guide. We will also send email announcements to our customer email list.
We'll send out more info on effective social network marketing after the registration period has concluded.

The guide will include 3 of your images. Must be a 2017 OPA member to be listed in this guide. This guide is online only and will not include printed postcards. Payment for the fee must be done by credit card online
