Special Presentation from Dustin Yager
"Just Keep Scrolling"
Dustin Yager's porcelain work deals with pottery, class, taste, and everything that goes along with it. Through both sculpture and the 'Ceramics and Theory' line of pottery, fleeting moments in time—from expletives and doodles to memes and catchphrases—are frozen in time alongside vivid and energetic brushstrokes.
Dustin earned their BA in studio art from Carleton College, and holds a MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. They have given presentations about their practice at the Walker Art Center, the National Council for Education in the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), Greenwich House Pottery, and Edinboro University, among others. Now living and working in Brooklyn, NY, they are originally from Wyoming.
