Create unique one-of-a-kind stamps using laser engraving technology and traditional printmaking techniques. During this two-day workshop, participants will be given studio time to create and refine their stamps before applying them to clay vessels. All levels of ceramic artists, either beginner or expert, are welcome to participate. Participants are to bring their own clay or clay can be purchased from Mt. Hood Community College. At the end of this two-day session, participants will come away with their own custom stamps, including a laser cut chop (a personalized symbol with which to “sign” all of your artwork), and a custom laser cut 5" x 11" stamp for making slab cups.
