Exciting news! The OPA Showcase Steering Committee is thrilled to announce

our theme for the Clay In Education Installation Booth fundraiser: "Fruits of

Our Labor." Get ready for a fantastic journey into artistic expression!

Come Together for Fun! We invite each and every one of you to sign up for

future Installation Booth workshops or let your creativity flow in your own

ceramic studio. The magic happens when we gather to make artistic

statements and have a great time doing it!

Give the Gift of Art! Your fabulous art piece(s) will be donated and

showcased at the Clay In Education Installation Booth during the three days

of Showcase in April 2024. This event is not just a fundraiser; it's a celebration

of creativity and community spirit!

Support the Cause! The funds raised will go towards supporting our

dedicated teacher members, enabling them to teach ceramics in Oregon's

public and private schools. Margaret Synan Russell and Michael Simmons are

counting on your creative spirit to make this major CIE fundraiser for 2024 a

resounding success.

Part 1: Making

Date: December 16th

Times:

• 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (1st session, room for up to 16 potters)
• 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (2nd session)

Part 2: Glazing

Date: January 6th

Focus: Glazing

Times:

• 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM (1st session, room for up to 16 potters)
• 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (2nd session)

Location: Art Building, Oregon Episcopal School, 6300 SW Nicol Rd., Portland, Oregon 97223

Directions:

● Go North on Rt. 210 toward Raleigh Hills.

● Just past Portland Golf Club, take a right turn on Nicol Rd.

● Go all the way up the hill on Nicol to the top, where you'll find the parking lot with St. John’s the Baptist Episcopal Church and the Bell Tower. Look for the OPA sign.
